INTERIOR DESIGN AWARD – MOTOR YACHTS

Awarded to the interior designers of a qualifying motor yacht considered by the judges to be the year’s best example of interior design. The design should match the requirements laid down by the owner of the yacht. The judges will consider its visual appeal, functionality, practicality at sea, and division and use of space, along with its innovative features.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Entrants are asked to provide:

• Details of the Yacht, to include Name, LOA, Builder, Delivery Date & Interior Joinery Manufacturer(s).

• Designer Statement outlining the owner’s design brief and how this was met (maximum length of one A4 page)

• Sketches or Renderings (up to three pages of A4) to illustrate the development of the design, if available.

• A General Arrangement Plan showing the deck areas and the profile of the yacht.

• Photographs. Please illustrate your entry with one digital photograph of the yacht and a maximum of 20 digital interior photographs for yachts of under 45-metres in length, and a maximum of 30 photographs for yachts of over 45-metres in length. Photographs should have a short caption to indicate their subject.

Winner to be decided by the full jury in London on Friday 11 May 2012.
